Prize Department: 2017 Heritage Toronto Awards

Last night went well for 50 Objects That Define Toronto, the book I co-wrote with Matthew Blackett that launched Spacing‘s line of pocket-sized publications. It earned an honourable mention in the Book category at the 2017 Heritage Toronto Awards. The video version, hosted by Blackett and produced by Ian Daffern, won the Public History category.

Segments from the video version are posted by Spacing every Tuesday. You can also order a copy of the book from the Spacing Store, or drop by their store at 401 Richmond. While you’re at it, check out the other books in the series – the third, 25 Days That Changed Toronto, is hot off the press.
